Canyon Creek Ranch is nestled on 130
breathtaking acres in Cold Water Canyon, just
twenty miles north of Phoenix in Black Canyon
City, Arizona. The ranch is surrounded by
71,000 acres of National Monument land,
featuring rugged hills, fantastic volcanic
formations, ancient Native American petroglyphs
and the Agua Fria River. The ranch offers great
views of the surrounding mountains and miles of natural Sonoran desert to
explore and enjoy.

The main attraction on the ranch is the authentic old western town where you
can thrill to the action of a Wild West gunfight, enjoy authentic western
entertainment, wet your whistle at the saloon or enjoy a delicious cowboy meal
under the ancient mesquite tree in the center of town. To really get your hands
on history, test your cowboy mettle with games such as hay bale steer roping,
axe throwing, and pistol shooting.

A visit to the Old West isn’t complete without a horseback ride, so we also offer
rides of varying lengths and levels of difficulty to suit all ages and types of riders.
Saddle up like a cowboy of old for a short ride through the town or head off into
the hills around the ranch for a guided tour of the surrounding desert.
